    Checked our woods today. Nothing yet. We live in East Texas and are expecting rain tonight.

    me and the wife was up your way on the 9th went to Old Sabine Bottom Wildlife Management Area looking for morels
    but no luck i guess it is still to dry plan on going back in a few weeks

    River cat, I think it is still too dry around the Old Sabine Bottom WMA area. I am not too far from there, and I have found only 1 so far. It is supposed to rain tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. Maybe the hunting will be better then.

    So dry in the hill country but had a good rain here yesterday maybe something popped up gonna go check it out

    My sister and I found 5 in North Texas March 17th 2013. She found more last week. I am in Arkansas now and hope to find some Saturday, the nights have still been cold here thou.

    is there anything much for mushroom hunting around Houston, I noticed the state parks. Could be in there in a year or 2 for the mushroom season
