With some milder days ahead, and no idea when it will warm up, can we expect growth when it does get warm. I've checked my spots which are usually very bountiful and have not found a single one. Very frustrated and hoping they'll still produce.
The morels will still grow in cool weather as long we have enough moisture .When it does warm up they should really pop,but maybe for a shorter season. I'm not an expert, but that's my opinion. I live in northern Indiana so our
conditions should be similar. Don't get too discouraged as there is plenty of time left. Good luck.
