Was wondering about clear cut areas.

About 30 years ago had a real good honey hole for shrooms .Then it was clear cut and haven't been in there since.What are the chances of the shrooms coming back after all this time.Was by there back in the fall almost looks like it did when we use to find shrooms.What do you all think.

As long as the root systems of favored trees are still in the ground, the mushrooms should come back. This type of scenario is explained in the book, "The Mushroom Hunters" by Langdon Cook. I read it earlier in the year - very informative and entertaining. It follows the lives of professional mushroom hunters in the Pacific Northwest.
