Just joined today, wanted to introduce myself and meet some other like minded folks. I live in Fayetteville, have land spread out from Summers to West Fork & Elkins. This is my first year hunting morels. I always was interested in it, I'm not big on mushrooms in general but I do enjoy a nicely cooked mushroom from time to time. I really just enjoy getting out and playing around in nature.

I've been probably 3 to 4 times and searched about 10 to 15 acres and nothing yet. Mostly mountain streams and some openings in the woods. My main land is in West Fork where we have 60 acres. Thought for sure I'd of found one by now. I'm fairly familiar with Elms, Sycamores, etc.. Looks like our soil temps are avg about 52 right now around the Mountain.

Is any of my fellow Washington county hunters having any luck?! Nice to meet you all and glad I stumbled on this board.
