There are alot of fallen trees ready to be dirt again by next year with moss growing on them, also hundreds of Jack in the pulpit ferns, an assortment of other kinds of mushrooms and wild flowers. This will be our first year Morel hunting, any tips? There is also an area of black dirt wetland with all that I mentioned above, is that a good lpace to look? Or should we stick to dry land? Help an newbee.

you can find a ton of info on where to look on youtube and the rest of the internet but the penny tour is 'mostly or newly dead elm trees'
