Hunted morels for years in the Midwest. Wondering what the triggers are in Washington. Based on the usage of this board, doubt I will get an answer.

I'm wondering the same thing. I recently moved here from Pennsylvania and have no idea where or when to look. Last season I was finding them in late April which was early for my area.

I am pretty confident in terms of where to look, that can't be that different. Similar signs likely are applicable. The piece for me is just the timing aspects. In the Midwest I could tell be the temperatures and time of year when they would be poppin but just not certain here. Where did you move to?
