Where are they??????

It's been too dry up there. Seems like the lowlands and cottonwood flush is already beyond crunchy at this point.

This year is probably the worst i've seen as far as high altitude morels go. My brother and I went up yesterday, and in about 8 hrs. of looking, only 10 morels apiece. Of the 10 I brought home 5 were salvageable due to over-ripeness, The bonus was that I found 2 king boletes, nice and fresh. The first time ever seeing or eating king boletes. they were delicious!
