Hi Feltner, I am from Illinois, I'm in Barren Co. KY. next to Mammoth Cave. Been here lil. over year and a half. they may be up this week after this rain. I'm going this Wed. I lived in Cumberland co. IL. for I moved here. Good luck this year. I think it's going to be a great season.

Coyote, I hunt in the Hart/Edmonson county area bewteen The Park and Nolin Lake. I checked briefly on Sunday and didn't find any. The woods were clearly not ready to give up the morels. The blacks will be starting to pop this weekend after these warm temps and rains. I usually find quite a few blacks, small greys, whites and yellows in that area. Rarely do I find the big yellows. I sometimes hunt in the northern part of The Park with limited success. I'll report in during the weekend hunt. Good luck everyone.
