Georgia 2023 Morel Season

Cold don't stop em dry spells don't either people just think they do and miss lots. Special micro climates are everywhere and the shrooms will be there. Once the fuse is lit you should assume the worst and hope for the best 😎

Nice just a kiss of frostbite on em should be maximum flavor. Colder is less bugs as well.

Here in KC the hardest part is dealing with all of the other hunters. Every time I find a spot that another crew has just hit I usually will find a decent amount of morels that got missed. We focus on timing and stealthy routes to succeed. If you run into us in the woods its cuz we done huntin. Haven't even seen another hunter with shrooms in the bag in about 4 years now. Ppl are lazy and scared to get dirty out here.

Look at how Gray those guys still are. It aint gonna slow down yet you still got some weeks on you switch up your spots try to find some new s***.

I believe this year will be very similar for us here in Kansas City. I think things will be really good it'll be a decent season but then it will get hot real fast. Good job😎
