Here’s a few more. Hopefully they survive the low temps from this morning.
Those are so pretty.View attachment 44716 View attachment 44717
Pretty good harvest today. 8 full tiers in the dehydrator. Where my GA folks at? I can’t be the only one having luck.
Me too. Just finished up sugaring for the year so I can move on to something else. Too bad spring is at least 4 weeks off here. But on the other hand I'd rather have a cold March that melts into a warm April rather than a hot March followed by a cold April We all know how that turns out.I am in southern Michigan watching the snow melt and dreaming of a day like this. Nice haul...thanks for the pic
That was 2012. Ruined the apple crop up here as well as a lot of other fruit crops. It was an okay morel season for how weird the weather was. I'm hoping we have a great year this year. SO far the moisture looks pretty good up here in MI and the temps are going to stay cool. I'm hoping to get down to TN this week and check out a piece of private property that look good for morels and then stop by and see Wade before heading home to do Jury duty. Then it will be time to hunt Indiana with Wade then back up to MI and hunt here... ending up in the U.P in early to mid June.^^^^^^^^ THIS!! I remember a few years back when we had temps in the low to mid 80's for the first week of March. It got cold again, and the weather seemed to return to somewhat normal, but that was the worst morel season I've ever had! I only found one little, dried up crispy critter in any of my spots.
India? Far out! Whatcha doing over there?View attachment 44898
Back from India last night and found these beauties this morning. Nothing beats morels for breakfast. Georgia folks: get out there and get hunting. Just cause it’s been cold doesn’t mean you won’t find any, the only guarantee is if you don’t look.
That's pretty interesting to travel clear to India for work. Thanks for posting all the pretty pictures too. I'm enjoying seeing green.Had a work trip. I’m a mechanic/supervisor at a textile factory in Georgia and my company sent us to visit their factories over there. Was definitely an experience.
